Our Story
Two Decades of Academic Excellence
Bayan College was established in 2006 under the patronage of the Ministry of Higher Education — the first private college in Oman to offer degrees in Media Studies.
For the first ten years, the college operated from a rented campus in Madinah Ilam. In September 2016, Bayan moved to its own purpose-built campus in Halban, Muscat — with state-of-the-art facilities and modern amenities.

Bayan College is guided by a clear and enduring mission: to provide quality education that empowers our students to become highly qualified graduates and future leaders in their chosen fields.
We strive to instill in them the values of dedication, integrity, and social responsibility, preparing them not just for successful careers, but for meaningful roles as active contributors to their communities.
In doing so, we see every graduate as a partner in advancing the Sultanate of Oman's vision for sustainable development, and as a reflection of the standards of excellence we hold ourselves to.
